Migration remains a central issue for Europe and its member states. However, according to Mourad MAZAR, President of the World Organization Security Against Corruption and Crime (OMSAC), it is time for Europe, its laws, policies, and diplomacy to fully assume their responsibility for this complex problem, rather than continuing to point fingers at the migrants' countries of origin.

According to a recent investigation by the World Organization for Security, Anti-Corruption, and Crime (OMSAC), numerous flaws exist in Europe's mechanisms for managing migration flows. These shortcomings reveal an inadequate and sometimes inconsistent approach that only exacerbates tensions between host countries and the countries of origin of refugees.

A Necessary Paradigm Shift

It is crucial that Europe ceases its hypocrisy in systematically blaming others. Immigration is a global issue that requires sincere cooperation among all parties involved. Instead of attributing the responsibility for migration flows solely to the countries of origin, Europe must recognize that its internal policies play a crucial role in managing this crisis.

Revising Laws and Establishing a Rigorous Framework

For better management of migration, it is imperative that Europe and its member states revise their laws to establish a clear and well-defined refugee status. This status should include strict regulations prohibiting beneficiaries from engaging in any activities or behaviors that undermine the stability and integrity of their home countries. The absence of such regulations not only fuels political and diplomatic tensions but also fosters harmful dynamics that threaten collective security.

A Renewed Commitment to Fair Cooperation

OMSAC will continue to monitor and denounce the negative behaviors of certain refugees who do not respect the laws of host countries or the interests of their home nations. The goal is not to stigmatize but to encourage shared responsibility between European governments and those of the countries of origin.

Only a balanced and respectful approach will ensure peaceful diplomatic relations and effective migration management. It is time for Europe to embrace its role and adopt concrete measures for a more stable and harmonious future.
